Welcome on Board of the Official Homepage of
SESCA - South European Skerry Cruiser Association e. V.
The South European Skerry Cruiser Association (SESCA) e. V. was founded in spring 2006 in agreement with the Swedish Skerry Cruiser Association SSKF. Up to that time, the maintenance and development of the skerry cruiser classes established in 1908 were primarily the responsibility of the Swedish association SSKF.
In parallel with that organization, national groups representing the interests of individual skerry cruiser types were founded in Europe, partially with different rules.
In order to provide a class association for the individual skerry cruisers all over Europe, SESCA was founded with the objective to promote skerry cruisers as a construction class according to the criteria of and in close cooperation with SSKF and to further develop the individual types in accordance with the SSKF class rules.
